Holy crap, I've actually stopped doing random projects and dedicated myself to finishing some of my older ones. This is a thumbnail of the current work-in-progress, FireMan.exe from MegaMan Battle Network and the environment, which is my own custom design... Yay for originality! Click on the thumbnail for a larger view. The pipes were a pain in the butt to make smoothly but all the junctions are ready, and more pipular pillars are soon to be added to the environment. Deadline is yet to be estimated... Rendering is a pain in the ass :(
The image to the right is a preview of my current project, which I haven't really figured out a name for yet. The concept is relatively simple, just a fish in a military tank, attacking his reflection on the aquarium wall. Yeah, not much of an artistic message, but this image is mostly for aesthetics (not to mention it was a project I started long ago and never finished). I've already spent more time on the piece than I thought I would, so I'm looking forward to wrapping it up and moving on. Final render to be posted soon!
Although I regret to say it, the growth of this site and my album will be slower than I had hoped for, at least for now. Things have been somewhat stressful at work, and I've been getting a fair amount of overtime as well. The combination leaves me exausted by the time I get home, with a greater interest in going to sleep and dreaming of ideas, rather than bringing them to reality. Hopefully the work load will lighten up soon, I'll be able to stabilize my sleeping habits, and finally get back into production.
And so I've started over. Again. Of course, I have nobody else to thank for the new site but my buddy Dave and his web designing skills, which are made of win and awesome. Although the colors and overall theme that I've set up are drastically different than what he had in mind. There's a valid reason for this though; I wanted a change of pace. A change from the creative stupor that I've been drudging through for over a year now. New year's is generally celebrated as an opportunity for new beginnings, and as such I felt it was about time I had a site that matches my personality appropriately... Somewhat simple, slightly obnoxious, and full of surprises.
